The Safe at Work Series consists of four workshops. The first workshop establishes the importance of promoting a positive workplace; the second focuses on employers’ legal obligations to their employees; the third reviews the steps involved in responding to reports of sexual harassment; and the final workshop leaves employers with steps they can take towards designing a policy and establishing best practices for their

Welcome to Safe at Work: Towards a Positive Workplace Culture. The Safe at Work Project was designed to provide newcomer employees and their employers with information on preventing and responding to Sexual Harassment in the workplace.

VIRCS is committed to providing the supports needed for newcomers to thrive in Victoria, BC. Our mission is “to assist in the settlement and adjustment of newcomers in Canada, and to provide services designed to increase participation in Canadian society by assisting the newcomer to overcome barriers.
