Luis G. Aguirre

Luis G. Aguirre is an experienced people-oriented leader.
As part of his vast experience in the public sector, Luis has worked with multidisciplinary teams to achieve challenging goals and provide support in various capacities, from internal control in the oil industry to human resources and support services for different organizations, including the Mexican presidential office.
Luis’ experience includes the administration and assistance of poverty alleviation programs and social and community development projects at the municipal and federal levels in Mexico, where he found his purpose in serving the most vulnerable.
A political scientist and public administrator by training, he also has an MBA from IPADE Business School, and an MA in Global Leadership from Royal Roads University in Victoria, B.C.
He is aware of the needs of newcomers through the various immigration and refugee support programs, aimed at expanding their strengths and capacities, to remove barriers preventing their successful community integration, while feeling proud of their own identities and backgrounds.
Luis has a conviction on the greater power of collective wisdom and individual empowerment to bring positive change into organizations and communities.
